Design that Empowers People

With five offices throughout California, Taylor Design is a strategy-based design firm with expertise in architectural design, interior design and design strategy. Since 1979, the firm has built a national reputation in the health care, higher education, science and technology, and senior-living market sectors. Two talented women have helped to fuel the firm’s recent growth in the Sacramento area.

Teresa Endres, AIA, ACHA, EDAC, AAH, is one of Taylor Design’s project directors. A recent recipient of a Commendation Award from the AIA Central Valley Chapter, Endres serves as co-chair of the AIA|CV Academy of Architecture for Health and as a member of the AIA AAH Advisory Group, and recently joined the OSHPD Emergency Design Task Force. She has more than 25 years of experience as an expert in health care planning and design, with projects totaling more than 25 million square feet with a construction cost of more than $18 billion. Her projects have received dozens of awards, and she is a specialist in lean transformations in hospitals, using a collaborative approach to planning complex health care facilities.

Caitlin Stevenson, AIA, is a senior associate and senior project manager and was recently promoted to the position of office leader for Taylor Design’s Sacramento office. Stevenson’s role includes operational, management, project and business development functions. Recognized for her leadership of teams and clients, she has managed many large projects, including projects for UC Davis, San Mateo County Health, Kaiser Permanente and Stanford Health Care. A licensed architect in the state of California, she earned a master’s degree in architecture from UC Berkeley and is an active member of the AIA|CV Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) committee.
