Irvine, Calif. (June 12, 2020) — Taylor Design, , an employee-owned architectural, interior design and design strategy firm, welcomes Ken Ederington, AIA, to its growing roster of science and technology design professionals.
A Licensed Architect in California, Ederington brings more than 40 years of professional expertise in lab planning and design of cutting-edge research facilities. As Senior Project Architect and Lab Planner, he will work to expand the firm’s portfolio of work in design and planning of laboratory and research space for higher education, corporate, public, and medical institutions.

Prior to joining Taylor Design, Ederington maintained his own architectural practice for many years before serving as Director of Science for Carrier Johnson + CULTURE. He has worked with institutions throughout the United States, in addition to Europe and China. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Nebraska. Landmark projects include the La Jolla Institute for Immunology, in La Jolla, CA, School of Medicine research laboratories at the University of California, Riverside in Riverside, CA, and the W.M. Keck Science Center in Claremont, CA.
