Stanford Children’s Health enlisted Taylor Design to remodel an existing storage room into a CT suite, allowing replacement of their old CT system. After researching some of the latest trends to help reduce patient anxiety and improve overall patient experience, the team worked closely with Stanford Children’s Health to co-design a “Caring Suite” system for the new space. The installation of the Siemens Naetom Alpha system, one of the first in the country, not only allows patients and their families to select the imagery on the ceiling display to reduce anxiety during the scanning process, but also provides for better imaging outcomes for the clinicians.
