The world-renowned UCSF Hematology, Blood and Marrow Transplant, and Cellular Therapy Program attracts patients seeking effective, innovative therapies from specialists in blood disorders, including blood cancers. Taylor Design was hired to assist UCSF in the important updating and expansion of their facilities, located in UCSF’s Ambulatory Care Center on at 400 Parnassus. Scope of the project included a gut remodel of the 3rd floor and a partial remodel of the existing clinic on the 4th floor – all while in continuous operation. The 3rd floor houses the clinical program with a 16-exam room addition, new waiting room, administration, reception, two consult rooms, and clean and soiled utility rooms. The 4th floor remodel expanded the blood draw clinic and infusion center with private infusion beds, an updated pharmacy, and added staff support spaces.
